Our GoalsThe aim of C.O.F. Haven Inc. is to ensure tenant satisfaction while providing for the future of the organization. His journey began by meeting with Canadian Mortgage and Housing Corporation to determine what was required to accomplish such a task. His goal, as is ours now, was to provide comfortable and affordable accommodations for seniors with modest incomes. In the case of C.O.F. his name was Mike Sunka. The combined efforts of Management, Onsite Staff, and the Tenant Association provide a healthy and thriving communtiy atmosphere.Our HistoryMany stories begin with just one person. The Resident Managers are in place to assist tenants with onsite care acting as liaison between management and tenants with the intent of providing an effective method of communication. Prepering and strictly following budgets enables us to control spending while guaranteeing maintenance and building care. To accomplish this, management utilizes several key functions. Mike formed a board of directors consisting equally enthusiastic volunteers, 000 set forth by CMHC.Finally, all the while fundraising to meet the target of $100, the money was raised and construction began for the Haven 1 (Mike Sunka Place) project.
