A*MHA Participation in 4th Annual CEO SleepoutWe are pleased to announce that MHA President and CEO Jim Baker will be participating in the 4th annual CEO Sleepout. As Jim explains on his CEO Sleepout webpage , he feels it is a natural fit for the hotel industry to step up and support the housing and employment programs funded through this event:a*¿¿Manitoba hoteliers are keenly aware that everyone needs a roof over their heads. On September 18th, politicians and members of the medi, along with approximately 150 other CEOs, Jim, a will be spending the night at the corner of Portage and Main in Winnipeg to raise awareness and funds for homelessness.Jim will be participating on behalf of the Manitoba hotel industry. Right across the province, housing for long-term residents, Manitoba hotels provide a wide variety of accommodation: overnight lodging for visitors and tourists, and shelter for Manitobans experiencing emergencies and natural disasters.
